{1} DRY SHAMPOO: NOT YOUR MOTHER'S DRY SHAMPOO
I am in love with this brand of dry shampoo. It is cost-friendly, and perfect for those mornings where I am either in a rush, or just want to keep my hair for another day. It adds volume to my hair (I don't like my hair completely flat), and smells wonderful. I would say it is well worth the money I spent on it!
{2} STARBURST JELLY BEANS AND CADBURY MINI EGGS:
I have a weakness for candy-- particularly Starburst jelly beans and Cadbury Mini Eggs. I ONLY buy these during Easter season because otherwise I would probably eat a bag of each a week. My attempt is to only have a few a day, but let's be honest, that will
{3} and {4} MY GRANDMOTHER AND THE QUILT SHE MADE:
My grandmother is the kindest and most thoughtful person. She has a way of making everyone she is with feel special and loved. She is a great listener, and gives such good advice. Since she lives in Arizona, we only get to see each other a few times a year, but we try to keep in contact via text and phone calls. She and I have very similar styles: classic, traditional, and rustic (that goes for our clothes too-- although now that I say that I am not quite sure what "rustic clothing" would be haha. Hopefully you get the picture). She made two quilts for our new house, and two quilts for my sister Elizabeth's house and they are so unbelievably beautiful! They are also extremely warm and comfy, which is perfect for the cold nights we have been having this week. The quilt has more sentimental value than I could ever express in words, and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful and talented grandmother. Side note: where are those creative genes when I need them?!? I can't make anything!!!!
{5} LADY GAGA'S JULIE ANDREWS/ "SOUND OF MUSIC" TRIBUTE
Yes I am aware that I am the last person to mention this AWESOME performance-- but I can't get enough. Sure, no one can compete with Julie Andrews, but no one can deny how great Lady Gaga sounded that night. I probably shouldn't get into my complete obsession with this movie (I watched it constantly-- I am actually afraid to ask my mom how many times I watched it) as it might scare people haha. Let's just say that I know every line by heart. Every. Line. I have a DVD copy now, but I also have a VCR tape of the movie, and truth be told, sometimes I would watch Part I or Part II depending on my mood (did I want the fun-loving part? Or was I interested in the sad but triumph part?). If you haven't watched Lady Gaga's performance, no worries! I posted it below. You are welcome :). Oh and I have also included Julie Andrew's version of "The Hills Are Alive" as well. I had to :).
I hope you all have a great weekend!!!! I can't wait to read your favorites from this week!
