Friday Favorites and 5 on Friday

Happy Friday everyone! Today is the last day of February vacation, and I feel rested and ready for March :) (the longest stretch in the spring haha).

{1 Parks and Recreation}

I love Parks and Recreation and I love Amy Poehler. I am so sad this series is over! Seriously, if you have not watched Parks and Rec-- you have to binge watch that this weekend right away! If you like "The Office"-- this is the show for you. My dad is a selectman in my hometown (we do not have a mayor), and some of the stories from this show sound EXACTLY like the stories my dad tells. Small town problems haha. This show is smart, funny, and awkward. I am going to miss Leslie Knope.

We will be taking Jocelyn to Bentley University in Waltham, MA. The campus will look a little different than it does in the picture above (thanks snow haha). It is a renown business school on the outskirts of Boston (10 miles away). Jocelyn has a few schools on her list, and my biggest piece of advice for her is to imagine herself at each school. Could she see herself being happy there? Is it a place she could call her own for four years? But-- at the same time, I want her to know that you can always transfer. Picking a college does not mean you HAVE to stay there if you don't like it after a year. It will be interesting to see her reaction to the school-- I will keep you posted!


{3 Bruins hockey game with Jim :)}
Tuesday night, Jim and I went to a Bruins hockey game (it was his valentine's day/birthday present). Although they lost (grrrr), we still had a great time :). I truly enjoy going to see sports games (especially the Boston Red Sox), but my favorite part was watching  Jim watch the game. He watches so intently-- love that man of mine.

{4 A snow free week!}
We had no snow this week! Definitely one of my favorite't this week! I can't wait for Spring (if we get a spring-- usually spring skips over us). Doesn't the picture below look like a dream?! I'm ready for you Spring,

{5 Gap}
The Gap has some really great sales items right now! If I wasn't trying to save up for our vacation in April, I would be ordering way too many of these sweaters and shirts. They look so comfy and warm!
